Just like their top-end road shoes, the Extreme RR 3 GTX Winter Boots feature Northwave's Xframe® design to deliver a snug high-performance fit giving support to a smooth and powerful pedal stroke. Combine this with the Carbon Light sole, with its carbon/glass fibre composite construction, and you have road shoes that deliver uncompromising power transfer to ensure no watts are wasted. The SLW2 dial makes it easy to customise the fit with a simple twist and then a single button allows full release making for fuss-free removal at the end of your ride. 

Gore-Tex Protection

Then comes the GTX technology. The water- and windproof Gore-Tex® Koala membrane keeps the elements well and truly shut-out, locking in warmth when temperatures plummet. This is complemented by the four-layer, fleeced Arctic GTX footbed to guarantee the very best level of insulation against the cold. Lastly, the Climaflex collar, made from a combination of neoprene and Gore-Tex Rattler® membrane provides a super-flexible seal against the weather while keeping flexibility optimised for easy pedalling.

Cleat Guidance

These Road Shoes are compatible with road bike pedal systems that use cleats with 3-bolt standards, such as: Look Delta and Keo, Shimano SPD-SL, Speedplay Light Action, Zero, X-Series (via 3-hole adapter plate), Campagnolo Pro-Fit, Mavic Zxellium, Time Iclic/Xpresso and Time Impact.
