Morvelo starts with a wonderfully warm Miti SuperRoubaix fleece-backed Lycra as the base for the tights, stopping the sting of cold temperatures from sapping motivation. To this, they also add waterproof and windproof panels where the knicks face into the weather, protecting you from changeable weather, where it can be sunshine one moment and rain showers the next.

A dual-layer perforated chamois is at the heart of these tights. Created from 2 levels of high-density memory foam, using the latest in Aircell technology to reduce pressure points, the first level provides maximum shock absorption for the hip and pelvic bones leaving the perineal area without pressure for additional comfort. The second level of perforated foam allows for supreme ventilation and moisture management. The chamois is then covered with a soft but resilient outer layer offering long-ride comfort and the durability to withstand regular riding.

The mesh bib straps provide maximum breathability whilst keeping everything in its place, while flatlock stitching provides a smooth and chafe-free finish. StormShield products have been treated with a Durable Water-Repellant finish (DWR). This coating needs to be replenished periodically, using treatments such as Grangers Spray-On, McNett Revivex, Nikwax TX-Direct and Tectron DWR Treatment.
