Having an extra layer of windproof protection is always useful on the bike, whatever season you're cycling in, and the Blaze Haze Gilet is so light and easily packable you can always have it with you. The windproof fabric stops cold winds stealing away body heat and should light rain or a sharp shower materialise then the Durable Water Repellent coating will keep you riding rather than pedalling for cover. Of course, cycling can be a sweaty business but the highly breathable and stretchy mesh side panels not only ensure a snug fit but let any perspiration escape before you feel uncomfortable. The Haze Gilet has been treated with a Durable Water-Repellant finish (DWR). This coating needs to be replenished periodically, using treatments such as Grangers Spray-On, McNett Revivex, Nikwax TX-Direct and Tectron DWR Treatment.
