The Moggans Stravaiger Midweight Merino Hiking Socks have been made in Scotland and are a classic terry-looped hiking sock. True to their Scottish heritage, the word 'Stravaig' is often used to describe casual or aimless wandering, to travel in the hills for no other reason than the sheer joy of doing so, and true to their name, these socks are ideal for all kinds of outdoor hiking adventures. Made with superfine Merino wool, these hiking socks boast all the key Merino wool features, alongside recycled Nylon for added durability. A reinforced toe and heel and rib detail also adds extra support, as well as preventing movement in the boot.
Why Merino Wool?
Merino wool is a natural technical, performance fibre. This natural wool fibre is highly breathable, remains warm even when wet, is anti-microbial, odour resistant, moisture wicking, anti-static and non-itch. Plus, it is incredibly temperature regulating in a wide range of conditions, keeping you warm in winter, and cool in the heat.
