Boasting a high-quality carbon fibre rim build, this model provides an impressively stiff, smooth and lightweight roll as you put the power down. Its strong monocoque, unidirectional carbon fibre rim construction also means that you'll enjoy maximum strength without adding any unnecessary excess grams to your ride.
With performance at the centre of its layup, this rear wheel is equipped with Hope's Pro 5 hub that delivers fantastic engagement and precise handling with every rotation. Ideally suited for larger volume road/cross tyres, it comes kitted out with a 19mm internal width, 26.5mm external and a 40mm rim depth.
Built for the demands of modern road and CX disciplines, the Hope RD40 is loaded with tubeless ready technology. This means that you'll benefit from tubeless advantages such as the ability to run lower tyre pressures for lower rolling resistance, increased traction and fewer chances of flats or punctures. One final highlight is its Centre Lock disc brake compatibility, which allows you to fit your favourite disc brakes for more powerful and consistent braking performance.
