The Föhn Adventure High Pressure Kayak (1 Person) is ideal for both beginners and pros alike, as well as being suitable for salt water, lakes and streams. Made with Dropstitch technology, it is up to 50% lighter than the average polyethylene kayak, making it extremely easy to transport. This technology also allows the kayak to be inflated to a high pressure at the same time as keeping it super rigid, durable and abrasion resistant.

You can additionally rely on great handling, easier rowing, and a fast yet smooth entry through the water with the "V" bow and stern. How To Add/Remove Removable Fin

To correctly insert the included fin simply place the fin with the pin first into the centre of the bracket, making sure to push down. Then slide towards the back of the kayak and secure the front of the fin with the screw included .

To remove, please reverse this action, it's also best to make sure all removable parts are always cleaned off with fresh water post use to avoid any salt water damage.

Care Instructions

After being used in salt water all kayaks, fins, and paddles should be rinsed in fresh water and left to dry before being stored, this will ensure all parts avoid salt water damage and are kept at their best, always ready for your next adventure. When drying your kayak, it is best to do so deflated and in the shade where possible.

When heading out for your adventure, we advise that you follow the below safety steps;

1. If possible, always paddle with someone else. If not tell someone you are going and what time you expect to be back.

2. Take your phone in a waterproof drybag or pouch.

3. Check the local water conditions and forecast for the day. If venturing into tidal waters, make sure you know when high and low tides are and the wind conditions.

4. If you are launching from a beach, make sure to observe lifeguard flags and avoid swimmers.

5. Always ensure that you are attached to your paddle board either through a quick release waist or ankle leash.

6. Always wear a PFD (Personal Floatation Device) as well as suitable clothing for the weather both if on the board or if you fall in and get wet.

7.  Consider a training session, great for beginners to build confidence and upskilling your paddling techniques as you become more advanced.
